The Energy and Utilities (E&U) sector stands at a crossroads as the world moves toward a future shaped by diversity and inclusion. As an industry that is still close to its traditional roots and the core operations still close to their early foundations, it’s natural that they have been a little slower to adopt cultural changes such as Diversity & Inclusion. Despite progress, gender and cultural disparities persist, with only 32% of the global workforce in the energy industry constituting women and racial and ethnic minorities accounting for 22%.
